What is micro drama?

It's episodic, short-form content designed to be consumed on mobile phones.

Filmed in a vertical format, these shows are like snack-sized TV series.

The most common characteristics of micro dramas:

⏰ Episodes are usually 1 - 3 minutes long.

📆 Seasons run from 50 to 100 episodes.

​🪝 Story premise is high-concept, hook-based.

📺 Most popular genres are romance & supernatural.

​

The tone of micro dramas is usually melodramatic; think fast-paced soap opera with lots of twists, turns & cliffhangers.​

BUT, there's lots of scope to use other genres like drama, comedy and comedy-drama.
