My aim is to develop compelling, idiosyncratic stories rich in local flavour that have global appeal.​

I develop and write screenplays for film, TV and digital platforms using existing IP or generate original concepts from scratch. I also work for-hire on ideas initiated by a producer or director.

 

Transforming an idea into a viable concept involves making decisions on genre and tone, as well as developing narrative structure, characters, storylines and series arcs.

 

Working with your input and feedback (either independently or in a writer's room with other writers), I create:

• Further pitching materials (treatments, bibles, pitch decks)

Story, especially material intended for serialization, often benefits from a range of experiences and perspectives. That's why writer's rooms are so effective in developing concepts, fleshing out and structuring an idea relatively quickly.

I founded Story Inkubator to organise writer's rooms in Budapest with international, experienced screenwriters. ​​​

​

There's untapped, writing talent in the region and opportunities to create and develop stories with mass appeal.

Being based in Central Europe offers the additional possibility of filming material in Budapest, Hungary to take advantage of the lower costs, a 30% tax rebate and highly skilled crew. ​

How Do Writer's Rooms Work?

​

Three to four writers thoroughly interrogate a concept, developing characters and a story engine able to sustain a limited or returning  series.

​

Once a format has been agreed upon with the client, we proceed to the outline stage and from there to the pilot script. 

​

With connections to many experienced writers in Europe, I can set up rooms ranging from a few days to several weeks to:

• write a pilot script & further episodes
